The Heron

The August reading is inspired by a recent walk I took along a creek bank. Nestled amongst the tall grass, stood a blue heron, its long legs taking their slow strides towards its target. With each step, I realized how focused it was on the fish swimming below the water's edge - clear, stable, and determined to hunt its goal.
